Infant Daycare Program

Honey Bee Academy’s Infant Daycare Program will put your mind at ease. We will take care of your baby’s daily needs the same way you do. Our specially trained infant teachers provide a warm, loving environment where your baby can feel at home. Honey Bee Academy has designed the nursery with your baby’s needs in mind. The nursery is separated into two different sections, which include a non-mobile and mobile area, soft plush carpet, in-floor heat, and lots of stimulating features to keep your little one engaged.

In our Infant Daycare Program, our staff is dedicated to working on the following areas:

  • Gross motor skills – controlling the head, sitting and walking
  • Fine motor skills – holding a spoon, picking up a piece of food or a toy
  • Sensory – seeing, hearing, tasting, touching and smelling
  • Language – sign language, and being able to talk and be understood
  • Social – the ability to play with other children and trust adults

One-Year-Old Program

Toddlers learn through sensory experiences that enhance their cognitive, language, motor, and social skills. Children at this stage start to develop friendships and gain confidence as they use their words and thoughts to interact with others. To help our toddlers better communicate and ease frustration, our staff incorporates baby sign language into their daily routine. In our toddler daycare program, the curriculum is focused on dramatic play, creative arts, language, and sensory exploration.

Two-Year-Old Program

Our caring teachers keep small hands busy and young minds engaged through activities designed specifically for this age group. Two’s are highly active and interested in objects and people. They are undergoing rapid development in many areas, and eager for attention to help them learn and understand basic things about how the world works.

Our two-year old Preschool Program is designed to support and reinforce the independence that your two-year-old exhibits. Honey Bee Academy provides the structure and guidance they need throughout their day as they learn, get along with others and perform daily tasks that require longer attention spans.

Honey Bee Academy, LLC Preschool Program consists of curriculum based around learning and recognizing shapes, colors, and numbers, reciting the alphabet, and counting in both English and Spanish.

Three-Year-Old Program

Honey Bee’s goal is to prepare your child to successfully enter kindergarten in two years, and to become a successful lifetime learner. Our preschool teachers are focusing on preparing your child for the next level of curriculum at Honey Bee Academy. Our curriculum will encompass all content areas including math, science, language arts, reading, fine motor, sensory, computer, art, and dramatic play as they plan the daily activities and projects for the class.

Pre-Kindergarten Program

Our caring, experienced teachers are dedicated to providing a rich, nurturing environment that will prepare your child for kindergarten. Our teachers will encompass all content areas including math, science, language arts, reading, fine motor, sensory, computer, art, and dramatic play as they plan the daily activities and projects for the class. Students and teachers will begin to plan activities together based around the interest of the whole class. Group activities and circle times will be conducted daily by the teacher in which the class will meet as a whole for activities such as calendar time, weather, and story time, discuss a topic, and brainstorm a list or to assign daily job responsibilities.
